The De Havilland DHC-2 Beaver Kenmore Air version from VQ models is a finished model (ARF version) all wood in balsa and plywood of the bush plane type. Its finish and model details make it a model close to size. The model can be equipped with electric or combustion motors.

The de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver is a single-engine, high-wing, propeller-driven STOL aircraft, primarily known as the bush plane. It is used for freight and passenger transport, for aerial application (crop dusting and aerial top dressing) and has been widely adopted by the armed forces as a utility aircraft. Nine DHC-2s are still in service with the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary (Civil Air Patrol) for search and rescue. A Royal New Zealand Air Force Beaver supported Sir Edmund Hillary’s expedition to the South Pole. More than 1,600 Beavers were produced until 1967, when the original line closed.

The VQ Model DHC-2 Beaver is a high-wing, stable aircraft intended for both intermediate and more experienced model builders who have prior experience with easy-to-assemble ARF. The wings in two parts will facilitate its transport and storage.

You can set up your own standard equipment and be ready to fly within hours. This model is designed to accept two-stroke, four-stroke or electric combustion engines depending on your choice.

The VQ DHC-2 Beaver has been specially developed for brushless motors and features a fully removable cockpit for easy battery change. The hood locks magnetically on the fuselage. With the included large wheels, takeoffs and landings are no problem, even on grass runways. The model is also can also be adapted to sea flights or snow flights (optional floats)
